Johnny Blair, at 83, isn't internet savvy and asked me to forward the following: Jean, I knew Al from working on base housing as Northeast Construction Co. painting contractor renovating hundreds of housing units in the mid 90's. I knew him best for his friendly manner, love of family and his great story telling ability. Although we have grown apart of the years, we would run into each other from time to time and maybe over a beer or two, always shared the great experience and amazing camaraderie while working on the base with Northeast. May he rest in peace. C.A. (Johnny) Blair Jacksonville, NC

We offer our sincere condolences to the Al Justice family. Jean, Al absolutely adored you and the kids and never failed to mention so in his conversations he was so well known to have with many, friends and strangers alike. We will always remember Al from our great business association working on base with Northeast Construction Co. and the Justice Flooring Company. Hard workers all! Equally great was our friendship with you and Al. After all that hard work and meeting and defeating all the trials and tribulations of the business world we could find time to enjoy life to its fullest. Our memorable trips to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach were world class! Al, in your place of eternal rest may your seas be calm, your surfing be stoked, your racquet ball rallys be many, your Fuenties by aromatic and of course, your cards always be Aces and Faces. Peace!

To the Family I'm so sorry to hear of Al's passing. Oh I could go on and on about the good ole days. I'll just say Al was a great friend and roommate along with Evan Council and Jim Sheegog on Wrightsville Beach in the mid 70's . We all lived at various locations during those years of development . Also at the Point of EI back when it was only sand dunes and waves . We made waves out of the large sand dunes there. So much fun doing what we did. RIP Al Love you brother Jack Whitley
