Obituary For Betty Kinkade Reed

Betty Kinkade Reed, 70 of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday afternoon at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Services will be private per family request. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Margaret Kinkade and her brother Larry Kinkade. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Fright (Eric) of Jacksonville and Tiffany Reed (Jason) of Charlotte, sons Dennis Rochelle (Victoria) and Kristopher Rochelle of Jacksonville, grandchildren Brittany Cato, Eric Fright IV, Hannah Fright, Emily Fright, Taylor Tetzlaff, and Isaac Rochelle, 4 great grandchildren Audri Kelly, Averi Kelly, Cooper Cato, and Elijah Tetzlaff, a sister Kathy Hawkins of Jacksonville and a nephew Joshua Kinkade. Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel is honored to serve the Reed family at this most difficult time.     Betty was a good friend of mine at Dixon School. She was always a sweet girl and lots of fun. Praying for all of her family.

    1st my condolences to the whole family. Ms Betty was my dear sweet next door neighbor for over 25 years, knew everyone in the family, and then some, she welcomed everyone in her home, the holidays especially Thanksgiving were amazing. We always shared conversation and food at the fence line. I was blessed to have her as my neighbor. Michelle, Dennis, Chris, Tiffany, Kathy , my heart-felt condolences 🙏. Many memories were made . May you rest in Peace Ms Betty. I will meet up with you again at the Fence line with some Ribs . Love you. ❤️ Thanks for Being their for me.

    I will always cherish my time in Jacksonville, Betty opened up her home to me like I was another son. I will be forever grateful for her love and kindness.
