Obituary For Billie Ann Wright

Billie Ann Wright, 74, of Maple Hill, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023. Born on July 23rd, 1948, in Goshen, New York, to the late William and Lillian (Holbert) Wixon, Sr.

Billie is survived by her daughter; Jaimee Marsicano, husband Dean Marsicano and their child Gavin. She is also survived by three of her siblings; Sister, Janet Hickey, and husband Ronald Hickey; Brothers, William Wixon Jr.; Samuel Wixon Sr., and wife Darlene Wixon. Billie also has many nieces and nephews that she adored dearly.

She is Predeceased by her sister Donna Adams, and brother Lemuel Wixon.

Billie was a long-time resident of upstate New York before retiring from over 35 years as Director of Education and Training at Middletown Psychiatric center and relocating with her daughter and family to coastal NC in 2010. She was a true “Yankee” at heart. She was a devoted mother and grandma to her only child and grandson. Billie was an avid baker and brilliant crochet artist that took immense pleasure in making gifts for any baby that would showcase her greatest joy! She always put others needs before her own and ensured that anyone coming to visit left with a full belly! “To know her was to love her” Her vibrant smile and cheerful outlook will continue to shine a light on all she touched throughout her too short time on this earth.

The family will receive friends from 12PM - 2PM on Monday, May 1st, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Chapel, 2685 Henderson Drive. A funeral service will follow at 2PM at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Paige officiating.

Jaimee - My heart goes out to you, Gavin and Dean on this day. I am so thankful I'm so many ways for having Billieann in my life. She was not only one of the best bosses I ever had but she was so kind and caring and we all were able to develop close friendships with her which was more than what you expect from your co-workers and bosses! She made work into another family! I am also grateful for her for bringing you into my life as well as Christina. I can remember you guys coming to visit me at work and at home too when Christina's oldest daughter was just a baby! If it wasn't for your mom, I would have never had you two loves in my life as well! Just know how special your mom was to so many people and we will always be family to you and your family because of the love that she created in all of us!!❤️

Jaimee- So many wonderful memories of your Mom. I was her secretary for many years in the Education and Training Dept. We had such great times together. She was a wonderful person inside and out. She was the best boss I ever had. I remember when she use to bring you to work when you were a young girl. Your mother adored you always remember that. She will be deeply missed.
