Chief Chapman was my boss at the 8th Comm BN, BAS. from 1983-1986. I have never forgotten the wisdom Chief imparted upon me as a 21 year old girl from Detroit. Chief spoke fondly of his wife, Shari, and twins, Kenny and Jenny. I Googled Chief's name in the hope that I could find him and thank him for his guidance and leadership some 40 years ago . Sadly, I found his obituary. To his wife, children and grandchildren, Chief was the absolute best man I have ever worked for and know that he touched the soul of someone 40 years ago and that wisdom remains to this day. I salute you, Chief "Fair Winds and Following Seas". Angel Abrams Cpl, USMC 83-86 angella345@gmail.com
