Debra worked hard to support and take care of her family. I enjoyed talking to her when we both worked at Britthaven/ Premier. She was sweet and caring. I am so sorry for the family loss. May she forever rest in peace in her heavenly home.

In the 1970s, a white girl from Long Island fell in love with a Puerto Rican from Brooklyn. She loved this Boricua in a time when there was much hatred of Latinos and people of color in New York. She raised her daughters to love, not hate. I never met Debbie, but I love her for that. The world needs more Debbies. Que descanse en paz.
