Born September 10, 1932 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio and longtime resident of Edgewater, FL passed away on January 14th peacefully at her home in Jacksonville, NC after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her husband’s Jim Reebel (2012), Joe Smith (1994) and John Johnson (1998); her grandsons Matthew (Tiffany) Smith (2016) and Stephen Simons (1978); her mother Inez Mason Bennett (1987) and her father Oren Wyatt (1976). She is survived by her brother Marvin (Chelle) Bennett (OH); and her children Sue Chandler (FL), Mike (Anita) Smith (NC), Jody Smith (TX), Patty Smith (FL), Nancy Reebel (NH), Sandra Majors (IL), and Linda Caplette (FL). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Jim (Chrissy) Chandler, Jason (Sarah) Smith, and Lucas Smith; and her great-grandchildren Jennifer, Heather, Erica, Brooklyn, Brandon, Trinity, Alex, Caroline, Mason, Cam, Parker, and Gabe and numerous friends, nieces/nephews and cousins. Interment with her husband Jim will be at Onslow Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, NC. No services will be offered per her request. Remembrance gifts may be given to Hospice & St. Jude charities.
