Richlands, NCMr. Floyd J. Roth, 85, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022. A native of Orleans Parish, LA, Floyd worked with the state as an accounts payable clerk before retiring to Richlands. Floyd was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where he volunteered with his wife Carmen, and then his step-daughter, Mary. He loved word puzzles, square dancing, and his adopted family. He actually met Carmen square dancing, and they fell for each other over 30 years ago. He was welcomed into her family with children and grandchildren. Sadly, Floyd was preceded in death by Carmen, and his step-son Timothy Burke.The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 5, 2022 for 12-1:00 PM, followed by his funeral at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Richlands, with Rev.
