Tana I chose the red candle because you were a fireball and never stopped! Even when we got mad at each other we ended up back talking and moving on! ๐Ÿซ‚ I had no idea you had passed. ๐Ÿ˜” ๐Ÿ’” You have a good soul and life out there can make us do crazy things. A lot of the times we were doing crazy things we had a good time together. Not necessarily what was happening but just together. But we haven't seen each other since I had gotten clean/sober 3.5 years ago. I wish we had got to have lunch one more time before your body left us. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ญYour soul lives on in my memories till the end of my days! You are so loved! ๐Ÿ’— Keep a close eye on your family and guide them spiritually through missing you and in life. God bless ๐Ÿ™your soul! You are now at peace and no more suffering my friend! โœจ๏ธ ๐Ÿซ‚๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’—

The obituary page wouldn't let me share a memory... Katana is a close friend. We grew up just a couple streets apart. We would go skating every Friday night. My Mom would drop us off & come get us when it's time to go. While there, we would skate awhile then sneak out & run up the road to the bowling alley (bc the cool folks were there lol!) & get back to skating rink before time. We would ride our bikes to the Eastside Cemetery nearly every day. It was huge to us then & we'd ride each lane. We loved exploring... Except at 10 pm on Halloween when we had gotten a couple years older... We were riding around with guys friends & Linda Stafford was with us. Michael Jordan from Gleason was driving. We went to the cemetery. We were going to all get out & hang by the vault monument under the big oak tree. Katana Paxton , Linda & I get out. Anthony Maupin, Kevin Mayo, Ted Sterling & Michael stomp it, leaving us standing. Well we freak out & start running for the car. I hear Katana scream. I look back & she's gone!! Linda is still running & passes me. The guys are coming back for us but I couldn't find Katana, but could still hear her hollering... Lol. The guys get back to us, I get a flashlight & follow the yelling... OMGOSH!! Katana is in a freakin HOLE!! Earlier that day the men had dug a grave preparing for a funeral the next day. Katana fell in full speed running & couldn't climb out!! I love her! I have so many memories with her. This one was by far the most memorable & funny. Tho at the time it was happening we were scared ghost white!! Sending vibes of comfort, strength & understanding. Steven Totty Lori Ballard Katana went home.
