Obituary For Katelyn Paige Laarman
Katelyn Paige Laarman of Jacksonville, died Monday, May 2, 2022 at her home. She was 21. Katelyn was born on September 11, 2000 in Cherry Point North Carolina. Katelyn graduated from White Oak High School in 2019 where she was the star of her class and the entire school knew and loved her. She enjoyed just being at school with her friends and participating in school activities with mom. She loved being outside whether it be swinging in her swing, playing in the pool, going on trips and adventures, throwing a ball, or being pushed in her chair during races and other activities. What she loved most was being surrounded by her family members watching her favorite movies and cartoons and playing patty-cake with anyone willing. She is loved by so many and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include her mother, Lisa Laarman (Jeremy Foster) of Jacksonville, North Carolina; her father, Brent (Jamie) Laarman of Yuma, Arizona; Brother Ty (Samantha) Laarman of Utica Michigan; step siblings, Tyler Garner of Mabank, Texas, Gracie Garner of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Tanner Garner of Yuma, Arizona; Grandparents Larry (Sharon) Murray of Newport, North Carolina, Red Cantrell of Munford, Tennessee, and Mary McConnell of Cadillac Michigan. She was predeceased by her brother Shayne Kyle Laarman.Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 2685 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville, and Saturday May 7, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 9:30 a.m. The family will also receive friends at the home.
