Obituary For Kenneth "John" Richard Carney

Kenneth “John” Richard Carney, 60, of Jacksonville, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 26, 1961, to the late Clifton Daniel Carney and Delories J. Williams Carney.

John is survived by his loving Daughter, Krystal Danielle Carney and Fiancé, Jimmy Silance Jr. of Jacksonville, NC. Two wonderful grandchildren; Jimmy Albert Silance and Nathan Lee Silance. Surviving John, along with his Daughter, Krystal; her mother, Jill Kathleen Sirmon of Jacksonville, NC. Cousins; Jackie Roy of Wilmington, NC, Cindy Carney of New Port, NC and Steve D. Carney of New Port, NC. Close Relative, Jan Zgiebe of Tennessee. John is also survived by his lifelong friends; Toby Bowman Williams of Swansboro, NC, Kathy Bowman Sawyer of Corolla, NC and John R. Craig.

John has been dedicated and hardworking from a very young age. He always put out what he promised and got the job done at the end of the day. John’s legacy and will power, will carry on through his Daughter, Cousins, Friends and Grandchildren.
