Obituary For Kyle John Schriber

Kyle John Schriber, age 40 of Jacksonville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Kyle was born on May 5, 1982 in Mason City, Iowa to David LeRoy and Joan Haller Schriber of Britt, Minnestota. Surviving Kyle are both of his parents, his loving and faithful wife, Katherine Zaworski Burke, of the home; sons, Kaleb Schriber, of Altoona, Iowa and Tristan Schriber, of Hampstead, NC; brothers, Corey Schriber, and wife, Teri, of Virginia, Minnesota; brother-in-law, John Burke, of Aberdeen, MD; Aunt and Uncle, David and Mary Haller, of Sheffield, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. Kyle was an amazing family man who loved and adored his wife and sons. Family was everything to him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, watching the races and playing with his 4-legged friends, Boomer, Oreo and Roxie. Kyle honorably served the Marine Corp for 20 years before retiring as a Master Sgt for the EOD. He loved helping others and had a heart of gold. He had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Kyle may no longer be with us, but he will remain in our hearts forever. A Visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home, 2685 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546 followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm also at Johnson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm at the VFW, 188 Hines Stump Sound Church Road, Holly Ridge, NC 28445. Casual attire is requested. It is an honor for Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel to serve Kyle's family at this most difficult time.
