Obituary For Larry J. Brown

Richlands, NC

Mr. Larry J. Brown, 66, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022. A native of Oswego County, Larry was a military brat, traveling all over the country with his six siblings and parents, David and Joanne Greene Brown. Larry was a devoted son, husband, and father who loved the Lord. He was a US Navy veteran, discharged for medical reasons. Not one to slow down, Larry shared his love of God for over 30 years as a pastor. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed online video games.

The family will receive friends 7-9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest, with US Navy Honors at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Donna K. Brown; her children, Timothy Paul Brown, Tabatha A. Brown, Emily K. Brown, Michelle J. Brown, and Madelyn L. Brown, all of Richlands. His sisters, Cheryl Wells, of Timberon, NM; Kathi Quintana, of Pueblo, CO; Karie Brown, of Olympia, WA; Kim Swizenski, of Columbus, GA, along with his brothers, Dave Brown, of Seattle, WA; and Kevin Stewart, of Montgomery, TX.

Johnson Funeral Homes is entrusted with the Brown Family.
