Obituary For Lisa Ann Davila

Lisa Ann Davila, 49, of Jacksonville, left this world much too soon on Saturday October 29, 2022, with her family by her side at Onslow Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 12, 1972; daughter of Mary Ann Habib Zaidan and the late John Zaidan.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Basil Davila and two sweet daughters; Zoe Davila and Andrea Davila. She is also survived by her brother, Peter John Zaidan.

Lisa began her impression on the community by opening Forkful and serving healthy food everyday. She then shifted her path; still following her desire to serve others, and began in Real Estate with CENTURY 21 Champion Real Estate. While in Real Estate, those she helped were more than just clients, they were lifetime friends, some of whom became family to her.

She made an everlasting impression on everyone she met. From customers and employees at Forkful who still call her their “NC momma”, to Real Estate clients that would call her everyday for life advice, or just to chat. She was the type of person who had more love in her heart than anyone could imagine. She had so much love to give everyone around her, yet the love she gave to her husband Basil, and her daughters, was more than any single person could ever imagine needing.

When Lisa wasn’t filling her time with her love for Real Estate, she was often found spending time with her family, laying by the pool, cooking, or riding her horses. She always kept herself extremely busy and she loved it that way.
Lisa was a loving daughter, sister and wife, and the best role model her children could have asked for. She has left her mark here in Jacksonville, and in the hearts of so many people. Even though Lisa is no longer with us, everyone will carry a piece of her in their hearts forever.

The family will receive friends on Thursday November 3, 2022 at 5PM at Johnson Funeral Home, followed by a service at 6PM with Father Earnest Ruede officiating.
