Obituary For Lisa Michelle Constance Reifke

Lisa Michelle Constance Reifke passed away on Tuesday April 12, 2022. She went peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by a loving husband, Eric, four beloved children, Caitlyn Reifke of Jacksonville, Kimberly (Joseph) Flynn of Hubert, Terrance (Sidney) Och of Sneads Ferry, and Nicholas Reifke of Sneads Ferry, two grandchildren, Father, Kelly Lindsay, stepfather Billy Gray and two brothers, Michael Lindsay and Jacob Gray as well as many, many other extended family and friends that might as well have been family. She is preceded in death by her mom, Cynthia Lynn Gray, and sister Angela Lindsay. Lisa was always the life of the party and despite being short, you could always find her in a crowd by the sound of her voice. She was a wild child at heart and a total rockstar. She loved being around friends and family, especially if it meant she could cook for all of them. When she was strong enough to be able to do it, she loved cooking feasts for anybody who was coming. She had a long hard battle with congestive heart failure, as well as many other complications that came along with it. She was so proud that she finally got a heart transplant in June 2020 after having her LVAD for over 2 years, that she asked to keep it in a display case on her headboard. She fought for so hard and so long, she can feel free and fly high pain-free. She loved singing “You are my sunshine” to her children at the top of her lungs and attending biker events with her husband so she could run wild. Well sing loudly and run wild Birrd, run wild.Funeral arrangements will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts in her memory be left at https://www.tmcfunding.com/funds/help-the-family-of-lisa-michelle-constance-reifke/6646/or by clicking the "Donations in her memory" tab to the leftPlease, share Memories and Condolences with the family by clicking on the "Share-A-Memory" tab. Condolences

I just want to send my condolences to the Reife family. I have got to know "Birrd" during my 3 and a half years that I resided in Jacksonville, NC. I remember "Birrd" as being a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, most of all crazy as heck!! LOL. You could definitely lean on her when you were going through something and she would always reach out to show that she cared. My only regret is not being able to visit before she parted this earth and entered those heavenly gates. Love ya Lisa!! A.k.a BIRRD!!!!
