Obituary For Michael "Dilly" Anthony DeLeone
Michael Anthony “Dilly” DeLeone, 59, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, December 14, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by the love of his life, Kathryn; his daughter, “Scoot” Tiffany DeLeone; his son, “Boy” Matthew DeLeone and his wife Taylor; and his two beautiful granddaughters, Michaelys DeLeone and Bella DeLeone. Being a PaPa was his greatest joy. He is also survived by his sister, Sissy DeLeone Lemley and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews that he loved with all his heart.
“Dilly” also leaves behind countless athletes whom he had the honor to coach, mentor, and aggravate. He truly loved baseball and softball.
Dilly was one of a kind. He never grew up and is now forever playing on his field of dreams.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Richlands. A Celebration of Dilly's Life will be held at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary of the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dilly's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
