Nellie “Rdee” Hummel, 87, of Jacksonville, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023. Born on April 19th, 1936, in Great Falls, Montana, to the late Agiles and Rdee Brown (Moore).

Rdee is survived by her three loving children; Kimberly Ray, Marsue Barker and husband Randy, Tim Hummel and wife Shelby. She is also survived by her sister, Vera Miller. Among many family members, Rdee has several grandchildren whom she loves dearly; Brad Cave, Chad Cave, Brittany Barker, Samantha Sherman, Jordan Sherman, Jordan Barker, Lexy Barker, Nicolas Barker, Matthew Barker and Carolina Hummel. Rdee also has two great grandchildren; Payton Hill and Baby Boy Sherman.

There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, April 28th at 7PM at Johnson Funeral Chapel, 2685 Henderson Drive in Jacksonville, officiated by Pastor Randy Page.
