This cannot be real! My heart has dropped severely after hearing about this. Ma'am, you were such an inspiration and I remember the day you told me you were pregnant with your beautiful son, I remember throwing such a wonderful baby shower for you and it hurts so much that this has happened. But I know that Jesus has you now and I pray that all the hurt and pain is finally lifted. You were always a wonderful leader of Marines and I'm forever grateful that I got to be one of yours. I love you forever ma'am, Semper Fidelis- Spendia Herrera

To Prince Jaizen and the family of Queen Ottheia my heart is heavy and words are too many and yet hard to say. I'm deeply sadden at the loss of such an beautiful young woman. I can't remember a time that she and I would meet and our talks would start on one subject but 2 hours later we are still chatting. I told her if I could adopt a grown daughter it would be her. She inspired and encouraged me. We had so much in common on life and how we as Virgos saw it. It was our visits that kept us encouraged and I felt empowered to remind her that she had accomplished much and will go even farther with Prince Jai. She loved deeply for her sisters and brothers. The light in her eyes when we would talk about you all made me homesick. We would laugh and talk about the simplicity of things then about her dogs and her dreams and how we all should have one and build it. I miss my little sister/daughter/friend. In all my years in Jacksonville I have lost people that I call family, this is way different because I could relate and see the true meaning of hope and feel a purpose for the presence of this one Angel who crossed my path and left a message for me. Family She Impacted and Encouraged Many. I only can say...take your own time on this journey. Keep your faith and trust that it will get better in time. You are sadly missed Mother/Daughter/SistaFriend/CWO2 Ottheia J. Mack.

She was the first person I met in Hawaii. Ottheia was like clam. She had a rough and tough exterior however, once she let you in you would find a beautiful pearl. She was funny, caring, and smart. Truly beautiful inside and out. I am the Marine I am today because of Ottheia. She is the one who taught me that I need to study and learn my craft because if I did I can tell anyone, regardless of rank, no. I am so sorry for you loss Searcy family, Nicholas, and little Jai. Ottheia, my world will never be the same without you, I love you and you will be missed.
