Carroll was a devoted husband and father to his three children and an active Christian man serving in the church (Richlands United Methodist Church and previously Millbrook Methodist Church in Raleigh, NC) as well as throughout the community. Carroll was a kind-hearted man who truly loved people and wanted to serve.
