We are saddened to hear of the passing of Velma. Our family has so many memories with her. My children looked to her as a grandmother. Velma was always thoughtful and the only person to send me a card when my granny passed. Velma will truly be missed!

Aunt Velma, I still remember that Birthday 🎂 you made when I visited Daddy with my 18th birthday. We had been separated for many years and you loved the idea that you, Jennifer and me could celebrate our special moment together. Many years later your baby brother came to Belgium and we got in touch again. Then a tragedy happend, your baby brother, my dad, died. and since then you and I grow closer together. We laughed and cried over the phone. You knew exactly when I would call you. Then you got sick just like my mother in law, you have been fighting until the end. I still rember our last phonecall, you told me Daddy was calling you, you knew your time had come. You told me you weren't afraid and also knew they would be waiting for you on the other side. Aunt Velma I'm going to miss you on those days that I used to call you with my special songs. Those days will never be the same again now that I will have to sit there alone, no one on the other side of the phone, but I'm glad you found your rest and peace. Will you please tell my dad I love him and wish he was here and give my grandparents a big hugh. I'm going to miss you but will cherish our memories. You will never be forgotten and that's why I have chosen this Red candle. Red as my Daddy's name and red as the color of love 💞🌹RIP Aunt Velma 🌹💞
